The have and the have nots

In class we discussed the two different classes presented to us by Marx the Bourgeoisie and the Proletariat.  The bourgeoisie are the owners of the means of protection or the rich and the proletariats are the workers or the poor.  This theory is still relevant today.  The rich keep getting richer because they seem to take advantage of the poor by giving them low wages and by using them for their labor.  Their labor is what keeps the bourgeoisie wealthy but if they did not have the workers they themselves would be poor.  They keep their spirits down and make them have to work.  They need the workers to keep their lavish lifestyle.  If everyone was part of the bourgeoisie then nothing would get done.  So who is really more important to have?

  1. To answer your question it is more important to have the workers. If it wasn't for myself and others to go and push the work out the owner would not get paid. For example if every worker at FedEx said its too cold today we are going home, if the pilots of FedEx said we just do not want to fly these planes today, nobody in the country would get their packages. If people did not get there things they would want their money back and that would cause for FedEx than to start losing money and also customers. Business owners sometimes have to not just have the attitude of stating saying yes I have this money but I would not be able to live wealthy if it was not for the workers that I put in my workplace to help me make this money. Its us the one that have nothing that works so hard for the wealthy to keep our jobs and to make sure that we get our ours to pay our bills and etc. Another example, as in actor, actress, singers, and so on. If it wasn't for the poor buying their movies, going to the movies to see them, buying their albums they would not have the things they have if it wasn't for the middle and low class. that's why I feel that them as those positions should be able to keep a positive attitudes with their fans, because if their attitudes are always stuck up and rude they themselves will slowly fall down hill just by themselves as a character. So yes it us that helps build up a wealthy person, a wealthy person can not build anything without the work of his lower class and middle class workers.
